Bobby G. Summers Is A Musical Veteran, Born On May 9, 1957. For Several Years, He Has Been Known As A Creative Force In The Music Industry, And Has Decided To Bring His Talent To The Forefront. Bobby G. Summers Has An Extensive History Of Performing With Top Name Musicians, And Artists In The Industry As Well As Writing And Producing. He Is The Co-Founder Of The 80’s Hit Group, “The Deele” Along With Antonio “LA” Reid And Later Including Kenneth “Baby- face” Edmonds.

Attributed To The Bands Prominent 

Panache, Which Helped Place Them In The 

Forefront. Bobby’s Departure From The Band Was Untimely But Not Regretted When He 

Wrote, Performed And Produced With The 

Motown Recording Artist, “General Kane”. Summers Collaborated On Such Tunes As “Crack Killed Applejack” And “Can’t Let Go.”


 

Following These Attributes, Bobby G, Joined The “Bar-Kays”, Creating The Unforgettable 

Anthem “The Slide”. His Work On The 1994 “48 Hrs” CD Signaled What Was Ahead For Him As A Writer, Producer, Arranger And Performer. He Co-Wrote 5 Of The Songs And Toured With The Band For Several Years. Between Working With The Bar-Kays And Engineering In The Studio With Various Artists And Producers Including, The Great Will “Pops” Mitchell And Award Winning Engineer William Brown (Stax Records). 


 

Bobby G. Summers Was Asked To Perform And Direct The Enterprise Orchestra, A Band Otherwise Headed By The Rev. Al Green Himself. Bobby Assumed The Role And Toured With The Reverend And The Band For Over 15 Years. Bringing You Up To Date 2006, Summers Toured With The Family Stone Domestically 

And Overseas, Filling In For Sly Himself. Bobby Is Now Heading His Own Band Touring And 

Performing In The USA.

 

On September 25, 2015, Bobby G. Summers Was Proud To Announce The Release Of His 

Hit Single “OldsKool House With A NuSkool Bounce” Off The Upcoming CD

“Sumthin Old Sumthin Nu’ Which Was Later Released In Early 2016.

Says," I Wanted To Do A CD That Encompasses Traces Of OldSkool Funk Grooves A Little HIP-HOP Vibe And A Whole Lot Of Soul, Using My Knowledge Of Record Making (Analogue) Combined With The Latest Form Of Digital Technology.
