Shanae Edwards Is A Prominent Gospel Recording Artist And Writer

Shanae Edwards has been singing since the tender age of four. She’s a prominent Gospel recording artist from Memphis, TN. Shanae has shared the stage with Gospel artists: Beverly Crawford, VaShawn Mitchell, Earnest Pugh, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Dr. Bobby Jones, Sha Simpson, and Lisa McClendon. Her musical ministry is vitally important to her as an artist. She seeks to unify one’s soul any time he or she comes into communion with her vocal stylings. Edwards graduated from Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Concentration for Vocal Performance.



 

She has been a vocal instructor and coach for nearly a decade, hosting a variety of vocal workshops, clinics, and seminars. Some of her most popular roles are Porgy & Bess, The Sound of Music, He Is Risen, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change. Most recently she Co-Directed and served as the Music Director for The African-American Experience: A Walk Through Time which opened at the Cox Lewis Theatre to raving reviews, particularly for her arrangement of The Andrew Sisters’ “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy.” Currently, Edwards’ single “Worthy Is the Lamb” is climbing the Billboard Gospel Music Charts.
